You choose what you want to become

Certain things need to be taken by force. Don’t just sit comfortably where you are. The devil knows exactly where you are going. He knows your destiny because your destiny means his end.

It is in a nature of man to always run away from God. We always speak negative things and confess by our mouth. Our mouth becomes an enemy against. Watch your tongue. Death and life is in your tongue.Paul said “I can do all things through Christ”.

You can choose what you want, but you cannot decide for God.
Did you know that, if it was the will of your enemy you would have been dead by now. But God is in control of our lives.

He is an Independant God. He always advise us what to do, but we always decide aginst Him. If you want to get out of His way. God will leave you as you are. You will definately fall in the hands of the enemy, and God will leave you not because he hates you but he want you to come closer to Him.

John 11
You need to be transformed. Elijah is one man in the bible whose wish was to die. I believe He was face by a situation. This always happen to anybody. There are times certain thoughts comes in one mind and endup saying “I better die than facing such pain”.

I Kings 19:5&6
Elijah was faced with a situation in his lidfe. Elijah witnessed all prophets being killed. Some of the situations you come accross are bpreparing for what God wants you to become.

Elijah begged God for him to die.
He didn’t know what God was planning for him. He didn’t know that he had a way ahead of him. It was not time yet for him to die. He had to fulfill certain things.

You must know that you are God vessel, and God want to use to save the many lost souls. In the body of Christ all parts are very impoertant..
You can’t hide from God. If you think you can hide from God, let me tell you “You are wasting your time”. Just surrender to god and let Him use you the way He wants.

There are people who stays in marriage for a purpose. Even when people says nothing could be fixed in it, let me tell you God speakes a different language to some of us.

WHICH PART OF THE BODY ARE YOU?

04 July 2010

David said, “This is the day the Lord has made; Rejoice and beglad in it.” Mrs. Ntiwane quoting the book of Psalms.

Prayer – Philip 4:6 “Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Quoted by Mrs Ntiwane

Matthew 6:25 (Testimony scripture) verse 8 of the same chapter, “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?”

Verse 8, “Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.”

Luke 6:38 (offering) “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

The word of God

WHICH PART OF THE BODY ARE YOU?

(This is a summery of the Sunday sermon by Mom Rose)

II Corinthians 5:17 (Last week scripture)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

If you are in Christ, the past is taken substituted, behold new things are brought into your life.

This does not mean that God change the shape of your body, but he change the character, the behaviour.

Romans 12 (Last week scripture)

1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual[a] act of worship.

2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

3For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.

4Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,

5 so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
6We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his[b]faith.

7If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach;

8if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

Everything changes; your speech; your doings and your attitutes. This is when you receive salvation.

The book of Revelation brought salvation to me.

When you get saved, you will never be the same again. This is when the word hits you direct.

When you are born spiritually, there must be something that you feel. It is like when a child is born; when the amblicaal cord is cut as a seperation from the child and the mother. When the child cries, the mother will hear her child even before is presented to her.

We were given mercy. We are all of value to our Lord Christ. You are the most important part in the body of Christ.

“Turning Point” – It is when things look as if you have come to an end, but without knowing that there is a break through.

Don’t worry. Worry is a sin becausse you are doubting God. Let take our worries to God. We can not take our worries to human beings because they have their own worries. “Turning Point” it is when we take a decision to stand and trust God. Bealiving is an issue between God and man.

Ephesians 4

1As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.

2Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

3Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

4There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

6one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

What part do you play in the body of Christ?

“The thing that you do and have peace with, stick to that.” Don’t do what someone else is doing. Do what you do best. Your blessing is in what you do best. Maybe you are an ear in the body of Christ, be that.

Be that what God said you must be. May be you are a prayer worrior, be that as an eye of Christ. Some are the spokesperson (mouth) for Christ, do that because God has called you for that. Your gift cannot be taken away. Do what God has called you to do.

I was trained to be an Usher by my pastor Nzo. My position was at the door post and I would pray for any one who comes in. I would intercide for anyone who comes in. I would be assured that, anyone who comes in with challenges are conquored before the pastor starts the service.

I never had a smile in my life until I received Jesus. Jesus taught me how to smile. The smile must come deep from the heart. Anything you do must come from the deepest of your heart. Anything must come from within (deep in you).

If you do things to please others, you will get tired.

If you have a connection wwth God, no one will ever discourage you.
Lets hear what Paul says’

Ephesians 4:12/13

“to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up

13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

If you beg people for Christ, you even feel the pain in you. I did that during the time I was preaching in trains.

Each and every part has its function, but some are weak but that does not mean you must isolate that person.

People who does not feel the pain the other person is feeling, need to recheck themselves. Some can even preach even after having abused their wife.

God will at times tell you to go and appeal for forgiveness even when you see that you are not guilty.

Paul is begging us to be exactly, what he is mentioning in God’s word.

I do what the word say, I must not pretend. That means to be a prisoner in God’s word. You don’t just do what you want; you don’t wear what you want; you don’t eat what you want to eat; you don’t go where you want to go; you don’t speak for yourself in court because you are a prisoner.

We have our advocate; Jesus Christ.

When Jesus was still in the tomb, his disciples closed themselves in the room because they were ashamed. But Jesus came and said, “peace”. Jesus’ disciples were in a situation where they could not face the people because their master was gone.

We thank God for his word. Once you are saved, your mind must be transformed.

Which part of the body are you?

If you are in Christ you are a new creation.
You cannot enjoy Christ benefits if you are not in Christ. You need to transform your mind.

It is a problem as Christians if you don’t know where you are going. You must know your goal; destiny, purpose.

Hear and Obey God's word

(This is just a summary of the Sunday sermon) by Mom Rose

You are so special to God. You must know that. You are very special and God created you for a purpose.

We thank God for the fathers in the church. We always pray that God may raise the fathers in this church. Raise the mothers in this church. This will help the younger ones to follow and to learn God’s way.

I thank God for protecting me all my life. The devil once played with my life like a ball. But I got a goal keeper who took care of me, and that is Jesus. The devil kicked me like a ball (right, left and centre), but Jesus took care of me.

To Hear The Word (Obey the word)

We are who we are today, because of the word. God’s word is our way of life. It directs; it guides; it teaches us how to interact with other people. It is very important to know that, whatever you say with your mouth might create or destroy.

What happens if we hear the word of God. The word of God can come to millions of people, but you may find that only 2 people are helped; only 2 people benefited. Christ gave us the assignemnet to do as the head. He taught us the word. (That’s why he also quoted the word when he was tempeted)

(Testimony of something that happened in the past about the parts of the body) I remember my ex-boss sometimes back. Let me say he was a very naughty boss. One day he drew a picture of a person on the chart. He put all his the parts of the body and also included all the private parts.

He the told us a story. “One day, all these parts of the body debated about their importance in the body of a human being.” He said. “The hand said, ‘I am very important because I get food’, the mouth said, ‘I’m very important because I take the food in’. All the parts boasted, like the tongue, throat, stomach. But when the ‘anus’ started to talk, all the parts said, “Just keep quiet, you are the worse of them all.”

But it said, “When all is done. When all is taken in, I need to be flexible and release all the dirty so that every part of the body stays healthy. Without me, the body cannot function.”

When I sit and think about this, I realise how important each one of us is. No matter what other people say, you must know that you play a very important role in the body of Christ. Some will judge judge you, but you must know that you are very important. The world need you; the church need you.

We all have functions. We don’t need to look down upon ourselves. We all have the role to play as human beings, and our roles are different.

Romans 12:1,2,3,4,5,6

1. And so, dear brothers and sisters,* I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice--the kind he will accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask?

2. Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.

3. As God's messenger, I give each of you this warning: Be honest in your estimate of yourselves, measuring your value by how much faith God has given you.

4. Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function,

5. so it is with Christ's body. We are all parts of his one body, and each of us has different work to do. And since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others.

6. God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out when you have faith that God is speaking through you.

The word that was said in Genesis stood in Paul’s life. By human judgment , Paul should not have been an Apostle, by his doings. But God’s word that was said in Genesis stood in Him.

We have authority and power because Jesus conquered for us. We need to be transformed, and our minds be transformed according to what God commands.

If we examine, we will know what God wants. We need to examine certain things. People can attack your flesh, not your soul. Don’t allow the devil any space in your body. Let God be the author and finisher of your life.

God is a perfect creator, and nothing he leaves uncompleted.

The word in Genesis will never change. That word that said, he created man to be like us.

God sent His son to reunite us with God, after disobeying Him.

We all have many members in our body (one) but has many functions. Every part in the body is important.

Romans 8:28

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[a] who[b] have been called according to his purpose.”

God is so good. God plan even for those whom they were not planned for. The church of Christ need to care for everyone in need.

Thank God for the little you have. There are really people who are in need than you. Some are in cold, but you have a shelter above you.

We have different functions, and each part supports the other. Don’t look down upon ourself.

We need to stick to God’s principles; to guide and to rebuke us. Let those who has that gift do what they are sent to do.

Ephesians 4:

1. Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.

2. Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love.

3. Always keep yourselves united in the Holy Spirit, and bind yourselves together with peace.

4. We are all one body, we have the same Spirit, and we have all been called to the same glorious future.

5. There is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6. and there is only one God and Father, who is over us all and in us all and living through us all.

7. However, he has given each one of us a special gift according to the generosity of Christ.

(Testimony of what she says to her children; virginity & ear). Virginity only comes once. If you mess with it, you will never get it again.

Salvation

Tuesday Sermon by Mom Rose (22-06-2010)

Before the word of God was read, a brother in the church had concerns and questions about the reality of heaven. “Where do we go from here? And who created death?” This came after his colleagues at work told him that, ‘death is the final destination of every person who lives on earth; after that there will be no life’. He was also told that, ‘when you die, you will come back on a form of a certain creature; it could be a cat, dog, insect but not as a human being.’

This sparked a long discussion as the bretheren were giving more light to the subject raised while quoting the scripture.
The following sciptures were read:
• Ecclesiastes 9:5
• II Corinthians 5:1
• Hebrews 9:27
• Luka 16:9-27
• I Thimothy 2:1-5

The question at the end was, “If there’s no life after death, “why then were they preaching their gospel. If nothing will happen after death, everyone could stop preaching whatever gospel he/she is preaching. Because everyone is preaching the gospel, that means it will not stop after death. Beyond death, there will be judgment.

Jesus is coming. What we are facing are the signs of Him coming back again. That is why we need to know and understand the issue of salvation. If you read Matthew 24, you will understand well why salvation is important in ones life. It is no doubt that the day of judgement will come.

We don’t have to debate on what people believe in. If people believe that there’s is no ressurection, what we need to do is to press on, on the matter of salvation. (Mark 16).

The word says, “Go to the whole world and preaach the gospel. Those who believe must be baptised.

The word was read in the book of, Romans 5:12-14

Death in Adam, Life in Christ
12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—
13 for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law.
14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.

Sin was there before, but it was not active because there was no law. Sin became alive because a law was introduced. Take for example; The community of Henley can decide to dump on an unauthorised site without realising that it is against the law. But once a warning script is placed “Any one who dump here will be prosecuted” then judgement will be upon those who disobey the law. Death came by sin; and sin was activated by the existance of the law.

Because of the law, sin was activated and it is sin that brought death. Thank God for the salvation. Nicodemus could not understand it. No matter how educated he was. This is the reason why we preach salvation. There are many people who fails to understand the term, “Being born again”, being born of Christ and be seperated from your sins.

John 1:12 (quoted)

God used himself in a form of His son Jesus Christ. He humbled Himself and became man and went through all the sufferings a man is faced with. Christ which means the annointed did not go to the cross to be tested, no! But His flesh was. When He was kicked, beaten and humilliated, His character had to come out. God had to be revealed in His son.

Jesus died at the right time according to God’s plan. He could have died when he was very young than that, but the devil was defeated and that is an assurity that the blood of a small child could not do wonders. He could have died in the boat, but the blood of accidents could not do miracles. Remember the devil’s tempations?

Jesus had to suffer, face humilliation and rejection, and His God character had to be revealed.

Example:
Jesus – God – Man
God and man were fighting because a man disobeyed God.
Jesus (God) had to come in again and bring peace between (Himself) God and man. That is why Jesus came down. Life and salvation came with Jesus when there was no hope for us.

Jesus suffered and God turned away from him. He called upon His father as he felt the pain in a human body.

But a remarkable thing happened, A curtain in the temple was torn in between. This gave us permission to enter the Holy of Hollies. Jesus was a bail out from our disobidience against God.

Sin came with the law, while death came as a result of sin. It is like HIV. If it enters the human being, it must come with another person, but thank God it is healed in Jesus’ name. God heals it. You have no disease until you receive it from somewhere or someone. There must be a source.

The person leaves the body when you die. The body is not the real person. The real person departs. That’s why many says. “He is gone.” Who is gone? “the inner person”. God lives not in the houses built by the hands of man. God lives in his temple being our bodies. The body is the temple of God where he dwells. That is why we need to repent and turn away from our sins. We need to keep God’s temple as clean as possible.

God can change the character of a man. What you use to do can stop because of his salvation. You become a new creation.

(Mom Rose closed with the testimony of her revelation of heaven and hell which happened in 1988. She has a wish to share her revelation in a book format.)

GOD WILL NEVER SHARE GLORY WITH MAN

By Mom Rose 20/06/2010

The devil is under our feet. No matter what the devil do, we are victotious. Our God is faithful. God trust us, but you don’t know that. No matter what, tell him that, “Madlebe awunamandla.”

Revelation 2

God is speaking to me about seven churches. God is preparing me to share about it sometime in future. His word says, the devil will one day put us in jails. The jails are not the same. Each one of us has his/her own jail. Some jails are challenges; some jails are real jails; some jails are diseases; some jails are enemies and the list goes on.

Psalms 18: 30 (quoted)

You will be tested as a Christian. Some storms befell us so that we may glorify God.

Some will be imprisoned. But the assurance is; ‘He is yesterday, today and forever”. Tell ‘umadlebe’ that he is defeated.

“Who was going to be glorified if Bafana Bafana won?” Bafana couldn’t win because the sangoma that appeared on tv was going to beglorified. He is a jealous God. He cannot share the glory with man. “I gave you the word; just come to my word. I can’t share the glory with man.” Thus says the Lord.

We need to go back to him, so that he can forgive us the bad we did. He can forgive those who brought ‘the sangoma’. He can do wonders and have Bafana Bafana score the needed goals, (4 goals against France).

As I watched soccer, I was amazed and angered by what I saw. “UNkune uzolibamba, bese uTshabalala ulifaka phakathi.” He just messed up. All what he said was a lie. We have prayed as South Africa, but at the end they brought a sangoma to mess our game.

God will never share his glory with man

Joshua 24:11

11 And ye went over Jordan, and came unto Jericho: and the men of Jericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Per'izzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Gir'gashites, the Hivites, and the Jeb'usites; and I delivered them into your hand.

12 And I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you, even the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy sword, nor with thy bow.

13 And I have given you a land for which ye did not labor, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.

14 ¶ Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

16 ¶ And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;

17 for the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

18 and the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.

19 ¶ And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is a holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

20 If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.

21 And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.

22 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.

23 Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.

24 And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.

25 So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.

26 And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.

27 And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God.

28 So Joshua let the people depart, every man unto his inheritance.

Moses was called by God to lead the Israelites to the promise land. Even during the time of Jesus, people followed Him because of the bread not the word. Stick to His word.

Moses was a leader who trusted in God even in storms. He did not compromise God; but his brother compromised. Moses was a leader that was trusted by God.

God broght up another leader who would not compromise. Joshua was called the same way he called Moses, but with new instructions.

Joshua was trained in the times of Moses as a committed servant. He was always there observing what Moses was doing. He wanted to serve sincerly like Moses. He gave Joshua new instructions to lead.

God gave us the word and we need not to compromise. No matter what sin we commit; who commit it; use the word. Joshua went along with the Isratelites trusting his sharp sword; the word.

Verse: 14,

14 ¶ Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.

“Chrinocles says, ‘the battle is not yours but for God’” (quoted)

These were Joshua’s last words on verse 14. When one is about to die, normally says words that will be remembered

John 17 (Jesus last words)

“...God protect them” Jesus prayed for His disciples who were falling asleep. Jesus is praying for us even today. Jesus takes a step and stand in the gap. We are fortunate, we received mercy. We have God as our father.

Jesus’ disciples fell asleep for a reason. Sometimes God wants to do certain things without the interference of others.

Joshua gives an option; “Choose today...”

When things happen, which God do you worship. Abraham had to go back to the same land he left. He was changed even the name. He was a new man; a man of all nation. We need to be like Abraham and get all the blessings.

Rakhulelo said; “Petro will testify about what God did for him. Lazarus will. Daniel will.” What about you? What will you say in heaven? What testimony will you give to God. Tell us what God is doing in your life.

Use the word when challenges come. God will open the locked doors.

Choose today, whom you will worship today. Who was going to be glorified if Bafana won. He is God

Mtthew 24; (read at home)

God is a creator and people forget that. Even in times of Noah, people were busy with others, but Noah built the ship.

People who are here are not here ONLY for football, but with other missions. We need to pray to prevent the spirits they are coming with to South Africa.

“Sangoma on tv”

God wants us to stick to his word. He couldn’t be glorified with man. God will take way his hand if we move away from him. South Africa couldn’t win for the sangoma to be glorified.

“Somethings can hit back on you” *She testified about the game she played when she was young*

It came back during the week that God was teaching me something, that is; if you are a Child of God be faithful.

Nahum 3 (quoted)

Micca (quoted)

God always speak to me in different way”

*Children’s testimony. She gave a testimony about her children*

Children are rebelious, even if you teach them the truth. That is the kind of the jail the devil is locking us up in. Our children are rebellious. 2 must be 2 and if the don’t take it, one day they will regret.

*Marriage* She gave a testimony about her marriage.

God hates divorce. (emphasized)

God made His way (In her marriage)

Psalm:1 (quoted)

God has his own way.

When the word is being tested, that is the time you need to stand firm. The time comes when everything is going well; but when the time of challenegs comes, you need to stand firm.

When the church is being tested, you need to stand firm.

*Paul stood firm in times of challenges.*

Some things happen so that God can be glorified.

God cannot share His glory with other people.

Jesus prayed in short words, knowing that God understand the whole situation.

“Lord let your will be done” For I have no words, but you can do your own way. He found his disciples asleep. That was for a purpose.

Scriptures;

Nehemiah 10:27 (Dedicate the temple not made by hand but being us)

Nehemiah 9:1

Matthew 24

Revelation :2 (Body of Christ is the church)

We need not to move away from God.

Faith

By Mom Rose (13-06-2010)
God is good. He is good even when there is no good in the world, he remains good.

Jeremiah says, “Blessed is the one in God”. Trust in Him for He is the author and finisher of our lives.

God gave His ONLY Son so that we may have life and have victory over any situation. He sacrificed His ONLY Son so that if we believe in Him we can be victorious over any kind of challenge, and come above or on top of any circumstance.

Just See Him as the beginning and the end of your life; Let Him shine in your situation wherever you are; in your community; in your family; in your place of work; Let Him be the author and finisher of your life.

We are in the last days, and God want to shine through us. God wants to use us for His own glory. When there is no mercy in the world, God wants to show His mercy through us. He wants to shine because of you.

In the world where you encounter challenges and troubles, see Him as God.

I John 5: 14 “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

His love is here with us, for He is LOVE Himself. No one can give you hope except God.

Deuteronomy 28 (That’s where you find the Blessings of Obedience)

We have moved away from God. We are forgeting that, there’s nothing we can do without Him.

John 1 (Quoted)

In this world, there comes a time when you are called by names. Not good names, but names according to what you; to what you have become.
There’s a name that had been given to you due to your situation. Wherever you are, you are known by that name. Even if you are sick, people prefer to call you by your sickness. Your name is what is happening in your life.
Thank God for Jesus. Once you encounter God, your name changes. Everything changes. The way you think changes. He is a God who changes Human Identifications; He changes labels. That is the God we worship.

1 Corinthians 5:7 “Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast – as you really are. For Christ, our Passover Lamb has been sacrificed.”

Remember Jacob. He was a liar; a criminal, and had no peace because he did not make peace with God. You cannot do without Jesus even if you have everything.

God can change your name from nobody to somebody. He can take away hatred. He can take aways sufferings. Everything happens in God. Nothing can happen without him.

Romans 10 (Quoted)

FAITH

Faith is the principle of our victory. Nothing can happen withouth faith. You alone choose to have faith. No one need to help to have faith.

(Abraham was a blessed man, and we as his grandchildren, still quote Him in our time in age. This is because he had faith in God, and believed that his generation will be great)

Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek Him...”

Habakuk 2 (Quoted)

Write down your vision and have faith. Your dream can stand by faith. Whatever you want can be achieved, but you need faith. If you want life, apply faith.

It is now time, and if you are still relaxed you will remain behind. Take the word as been given to you. Apply it.., Apply it correctly.

Heroes of faith

Hebrews 2 (Quoted)

You heard the word but you have no faith. Your prayers are not answered because you don’t have faith. Things are not happening in your life because you have no faith. You need faith so that you can quote His word in whatever situation you may face. Repeat what He says in His word.

Romans 4:17 (Quoted)

Abraham gave God all the praises. Whatever age he was he praised Him. For you to plant a seed, it is out of faith that one day it will produce. To go into marriage with a stranger, you need faith. To take a taxi to work, you need faith.

Faith can change situations.

Mark 5:27, 28 (Read)

A woman of Faith

According to the customs of the Jews, if a woman is in “periods”,she is not allowed to touch anything. There are still religions even today who practises the same custom. Women were chucked out of the city during that period.
Now there was this certain woman. We are not told who her name was. She is identified by her sickness. She was sick for 12 years. I want to believe that she had no one by her side. She had a flow of blood for 12 years. This woman was dumped. Even her children had forgotten about her. She had spent much on doctors without help. There was nothing that could be done to change her situation.

She came accross Jesus. You need to come accross Jesus so that things can start happening in your life. We need the Abrahams of this age. We need Christians of faith.

This woman took a sole decision and said, “If I...” not, “If we...” This woman was saved by her faith. This woman heard that Jesus will pass by. He heard within herself. The bible says, she said, “ If...”, speaking alone. She did not tell anyone, because people might have stopped her. She took a sole decision. She had no one to support her in her decision, but she had to support herself in what she wanted.

Sometimes in life you need to support what you say by yourself without anyone agreeing with you. People can push away. As for this woman, she had the Heavens by her side. She mixed with the people when she was not allowed to due to her situation. In her mind was, “If only...I will be healed” She only wanted to touch the end part of Jesus’ garment. She was not interested in touching Jesus on his chest; by hand, but she had to go down to touch Jesus’s garment. She didn’t care of anyone.

What kind of things you do as a sign of approach to Jesus. This woman took a stand and approached Jesus.

Isaiah 1:6 (Quoted)

When King Uzziah died, Isaiah saw the Lord and discovered that he was not clean. The word is like a mirror, if you look yourself, the mirror will not lie to you. If you are dirty, the mirror will tell you.

Isaiah saw himself that he was not clean. Once you realise that you are not clean, you can then take a stand to make yourself clean. Because he saw that, he became clean. Unless Uzziah is removed from your mind, you will not hear God. Our mirror is God.

This woman took a decision, and she only wanted to touch Jesus’ garment inspite of her situation. She didn’t care of the condemnation afterwards, but she had faith that she would be healed.

Jesus gave this woman His attention. He did this while he was on an emergency call because Jairus’ daughter was dying. It might be that when this woman started being sick, the daughter of Jairus was also being born. What a coincidence, this woman was healed and Jairus’ daughter was raised from the death.

When He arrived, the people said, “why do you trouble the Lord...” Jesus seeing that they were low in faith, ordered them to go outside, and He remained with Jairus and his disciples. Sometimes people will laugh when you tell them your dreams. People laughed at Jesus and wanted to stop Jairus from bringing Him the house. You need to get rid of such people in your life.

There are things you will not achieve because certain people discourages you. You depend on people to achieve certain things. You need to take an individual decision and get rid of those people.

Remember the blind man of Jericho. He took a stand to stop the curse of blind-ness in his families. His father was blind; maybe his fore fathers were also blind. Your situation today must make you to take a wise decision. He stood and called unto Jesus against all odds, when he heard that Jesus was passing. People tried to stop Him, but because he had faith he shouted the more.

Jesus heard him even though the crowd was large. Jesus heard, and he can also hear you today. God gives what you ask. It is not the way you shout, but it is faith that brings the answer.

Jesus heard the blindman even though he was rebuked not to shout; even though he was pushed, Jesus heard him. Jesus said, “What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “I want to see again.” And he received his sight.

To the woman he said, “Your FAITH has made you well”

Read the word and have faith. Don’t exepct powerful evangelists or pastors to change your situation. Read the word and have faith, and your situation will change.

What do you believe God in?

RACE = Attitude

Sermon by Mr. Mthembu

God is everywhere.

Psalm 106
1 Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.

2 Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the LORD or fully declare his praise?

12 Then they believed his promises and sang his praise.

13 But they soon forgot what he had done and did not wait for his counsel.

14 In the desert they gave in to their craving; in the wasteland they put God to the test.

15 So he gave them what they asked for, but sent a wasting disease upon them.

When I look back I always praise God. It is a pity that at times we always forget where we come from. We know that the flesh is fighting against the spirit.

I always say to my wife, the way to success is not paved by flowers and lilies, but by bottles and thorns.

Philippians 2
5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in very nature[a] God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7but made himself nothing, taking the very nature[b] of a servant, being made in human likeness.
8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross!

· Jesus humbled himself and became like an ordinary person.
· He came down and humbled himself and He was obidient.
· We are in a race. We are all focussing at reaching a certain destination; to reach heaven.
· Jesus changed from being God to man.

We need to deal with our attitudes.

RACE
R = Responsibilty (Christians are always running away from responsibilities. We need to develop and be responsible.)

A = Accountable, Romans 3
19Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.

C = Commitment, Acts 20
32"Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

E = Endurance, Romans 15
5May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, 6so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.

We must always be coscious of what we do, so that we may not go astray. It is not easy, but we need to endure.
